This is the best airsoft site I have ever been to for two reasons only:
1) The Marshals
2) The site it's self
3) The Marshals (ok, 3 I just thought it was worth saying again)

As an airsoft site, you couldn't ask for a better urban environment, located smack in the centre of Bristol, opposite a Police Station, it has been set up as the perfect Kill house.

The site it's self is the old court house, to fights take place in the courts on the ground floor, and the jail cells beneath.

The site has been adorned with barricades and netting, with a great deal of work done to avoid major choke points and places to just sit and hide. Yes, the layout has all the great feel of a master counter strike map.

Now to the Marshals, on our last day we had Ian, Brad and Ian who were amazing. They not only ran the games well, keeping them varied but more importantly they were professional marshals, taking their role seriously.

This is also the only site I have been to where the guns are cronoed. Yes everyone says they do, but out of all the times I've been, this is the first time I've seen it happen. At the sort of ranges this site has (no more than 15m in most places), I'm very glad they did.

If you enjoy airsoft, you have to try this site, if you especially love urban sites, stay for a week.

Ok, We've been to Bristol Airsoft 3 times now and the site and marshalling is still absolutely awesome.

 Second time lucky

I have to admit that as great as the site is, I was worried going back that the marshaling standard was a bit of a fluke the first time around (with it being so good).

I have to say though that it was as good as ever, and the site has been further improved as more rooms have been opened up.

This site is the nirvana of CQB indoor airsoft, miss at your peril.

 Under New Management
Mr_G
Well the site has now been taken over by Bristol Airsoft (It used to be firefight.co.uk).

I've yet to play under new management, but as it's the same people running it, I have no-doubt it will be up to the same standard.

More info when I play there next

Sopley was my favorite site before it closed in 2004. It had a great mix of out door gunfights, with small buildings dotted around to focus fights around.

The marshaling at the time was excellent.

I have just found out that the site has been re-opened, so I have no idea what the marshaling is like currently.

This is really a unique site, as it is an underground WW2 bunker, or part of one.

It consists of a grid of tunnels, with varying levels of light, which makes for a very tense atmosphere and an exciting game. If the lights do fail, as there is only a small generator running them, it is pitch black as you are 50ft underground.

I loved this site, for the tense battles, and the ability to move like a squad with very little previous agreement. If you go, be prepared and bring a torch - preferably strapped to your gun with a tac switch.

The only two things than let the site down and give it 3 stars are the lack of toilets, just a bush outside, and the fact that there is no in-game marshaling.  Not because of the guys running it, who were great, but just for the fact that it would be damn near impossible down long dark tunnels.

Great though if you have night vision!

You definitely have to try it, if you don't mind dark confined spaces!
